Bobby Guy believes that the uncertainty surrounding the US health care market presents the greatest investment opportunity in health care for the last half-century. He is a health care deal lawyer, and he spends his time focused on growing, buying and selling health care companies.

His team led the largest PBM deal in the US in 2025, the largest private skilled nursing deal in the US in 2025 and the largest behavioral deal in the US in 2026 so far. His team has bought and sold more than 1,500 health care businesses in the last several years, including M&A, real estate and regulatory work in all 50 states. He represents clients across the health care sector, including:

• Senior living and skilled nursing owners and operators
• Acute care, post-acute care and behavioral providers
• Life science companies
• Private equity fund investors and family offices

Bobby’s passion for health care led him to start The 10 Minute HealthBizCast (“Exploring Ways to Make Healthcare Better”), which he hosts each year, interviewing health care C-suite members and thought leaders. He chairs the national Healthcare Dealmaker’s Conference in Dallas each May. He is also a frequent speaker and author on health care investing and health care transformation. He has appeared on Cable News, and has been published or quoted in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, CNN Money, The Deal, McKnight’s Senior Living, Healthcare Mergers & Acquisitions, Senior Housing News and HealthLeaders, among others.

With the firm belief that proprietary market intelligence is one of the most important services that a lawyer can provide to clients, in 2014 Bobby co-developed a financial research index comparing distress in the health care services sector to distress in the overall U.S. economy.
